Medan - Tangkahan - Bukit Lawang - Lake Toba - Padang - Kerinci Seblat National Park - Great Sumatra Adventure Trip 16 Days

DAY 01: AIRPORT - HOTEL ( Emerald Garden / Asean Intl Hotel / Grand Antares Hotel)
Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport transfer to hotel and afternoon free at own leisure.

DAY 02: MEDAN - TANGKAHAN (Mega Inn / Bamboo River Guesthouse) (B)
After breakfast drive to Tangkahan via Binjai and Tanjung Pura , on the way visit several villages where you can see the daily activities of local people, arrival at Tangkahan (a part of Leuser National Park) check-in to simple Guesthouse. Afternoon free at own leisure or walking around the area of the hotel, just to enjoy the nature of tropical rain forest

DAY 03: TANGKAHAN - ELEPHANT SAFARI (B)
After breakfast walking to the starting point for Elephant riding, where you may join with the Mahout during washing the Elephant, after washing the Elephant you can ride the Elephant through the river and jungle, the elephant riding will take about 01 hour. After riding the elephant take a short rest and then enjoying tubing through the river and then stop will be made at Fantastic Buluh Waterfall where you may enjoy the waterfall where you can take nature shower and then you can enjoy sun bathing and swimming on the river. Afternoon arrival at the village you can get in touch with local people, where you can see the daily activities of the local people and then return to guest house by walking for overnight.

DAY 04: TANGKAHAN - BUKIT LAWANG BY Jeep (Bukit Lawang Cottages / Rindu Alam Hotel) (B)
After breakfast leave Tangkahan for Bukit Lawang by Jeep passing plantation and jungle road, on the way stop at plantation and several interesting places such as school, palm oil factory (from its outside only) and for enjoying the panorama and witness the activities of the local people. Upon arrival at Bukit Lawang check in to hotel.

DAY 05: BUKIT LAWANG - TRACKING (B)
After breakfast walking to the jungle to start a jungle tracking to explore the nature of Leuser National Park with their flora and fauna, the possibility to see Orang Utan on their own habitat and other kind of animal such as Thomas leaf monkeys, long tail macaque, gibbon, black gibbon and other kind of flora and fauna of tropical rain forest. This tracking will take about 03 hours, after tracking return to hotel.
Afternoon free at own leisure to enjoy the nature of Bukit Lawang where you can also walking to the village around the hotel

DAY 06: BUKIT LAWANG - BRASTAGI (Grand Mutiara Hotel / Sinabung Hotel) (B)
After breakfast drive to Brastagi on the way stop at Sembahe River, passing Sibolangit, and arrival at Brastagi visiting Lhumbini Park with its duplicate of Shwedagon pagoda, then visit fruit market, and Gundaling Hill. Afternoon check in to hotel.

DAY 07: BRASTAGI - SAMOSIR / LAKE TOBA (Silintong Hotel /Toledo Inn / Tabo Cottages) (B)
After breakfast drive to Parapat on the way visit Batak Karo traditional village at Dokan, stop at Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long house) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung to see the view of Lake Toba, upon arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat , arriving on Samosir check in to hotel.

DAY 08: MOTOR BIKE TOUR (B)
After breakfast you may choose to explore Samosir Island “ The Area of Batak Toba people” by Motor Cycle to the Top of Samosir Hill to see Small Lake at the Top of the Hill called “Sidahoni Lake”, where of the way visiting several Batak Toba villages, to see the activities of local people such us visiting children in the school, visiting the village where the local people make traditional hand weaving and other activities. When you prefer tracking, our tour guide will accompany tracking to the jungle on Samosir Island with the possibility to stop at several villages. Afternoon return to hotel.

DAY 09: SAMOSIR - SIPIROK (Tor Sibohi Hotel) (B)
After breakfast crossing back to Parapat and arrival at Parapat drive to Sipirok, on the way stop at pineapple, clove, and coffee plantation and visiting traditional market at Balige , stop at Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs. Before arrival at Sipirok the day enjoy the nature by walking at the bank of Sarulla river, the rice terrace and arrival at Sipirok check in to hotel.

DAY 10: SIPIROK - BUKITTINGGI (Royal Denai Hotel / Pusako Hotel) (B)
Leave Sipirok for Bukittinggi by passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and stop will be made to see the attraction of monkey picking up the coconut. Visit pepper, vanilla, cardamon and cinnamon garden, and crossing the equator line at Bonjol, afternoon arrival at Bukittinggi - the charming town of Minangkabau peole - directly check in to hotel.

DAY 11: BUKITTINGGI - MINANGKABAU TOUR (B)
After breakfast drive to Batusangkar via Tabek Patah, on the way stop at Rao-Rao to visit Minangkabau traditional village and stop to see traditional coffee milling, arrival at Batusangkar drive to Pagaruyung to visit the duplicate of the Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom, afternoon return to Bukittinggi via Padang Panjang and visit Pandai Sikat village to see Minangkabau traditional hand weaving and wood carving.

DAY 12: BUKITTINGGI - KERINCI SEBLAT / KERSIK TUO (Subandi Gueshouse / Paiman Guesthouse) (B)
After breakfast drive to Kersik Tuo via Painan, on the way stop at Bungus beach, passing tropical rain forest and afternoon arrival at Kersik Tuo, the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park check in to hotel.

DAY 13: .LAKE GUNUNG TUJUH TREKKING (B,L)
After breakfast, transfer by minibus to Lake Mount Seven National Park for about 1 hour. Lake Danau Tujuh is a huge-mysterious lake on 1.995m above sea-level and surrounded by primary rainforest and 7 hills. Lunch will be served on the side of the lake. The pristine area around the lake is known as the habitat of Sumatran Tigers, Sumatran Elephants, Primates, endemic birds of Sumatra as well as research area for the “small man” who live in the jungle around the lake. Most of the day is spent by trekking and explore the surrounding in search for animals, birds and exotic plants.

DAY 14: KERINCI SEBLAT - ENJOYING THE ATMOSPHERE (B)
After breakfast and easy day to enjoy the atmosphere around the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park, tour can be made to Kayu Aro Tea plantation, explore the river around and witness the activities of local people.

DAY 15: KERINCI SEBLAT - PADANG (Rocky Hotel / similar hotel) (B)
After breakfast drive to Padang via Muara Labuh, on the way passing tea plantation, visiting Letter W Wwaterfall, Twin Lake of Lake Diatas and Lake Dibawah. Afternoon arrival in Padang check in to hotel.

DAY 16: HOTEL - AIRPORT / TRANSFER (B)
After breakfast free at own leisure until time transferred to Airport Tour End.
